Daily Bull-ogosphere: October 10

Good Morning V5ers! We hope you guys enjoyed the bye week and are ready to dive into UConn. On to the links!

1. The Half-Hoops grabbed a big conference win Saturday night when they took down #8 St. Johns 3-2 at the Kop. Dom Dwyer scored a brace (2 goals) for the Hoops, including the game winner in the 71st minute. The Half-Hoops bring their unbeaten streak now to 5 games, with the 4 wins all against ranked opponents.

2. After stewing over the Pitt loss for the last week and a half, I'm not surprised that the football team is ready for UConn this Saturday.

3. The volleyball team has lived on the edge the last couple of matches. Yesterday's five set affair showed a lot of resilience from the young squad, as they came back from being down 2 sets to 1 to beat St. John's.

4. I have a feeling that Elkino Watson will be getting more of these profile pieces. He's been a pleasant surprise for us on the D-Line this year.

5. We linked to this last week, but the votes have been counted up, and BullsVision gives you the Top Ten Plays for the month of September.
