Good morning V5ers! Who is ready for some Friday night football tonight? Looking forward to some pass-run option, you guys. Onto the links!
1. Congrats to Dom Dwyer, who was named Big East Offensive Player of the Year. He was absolutely dominant for the Half-Hoops this year up top, and this award is well deserved.
2. The baseball team will have a great experience this season -- they will open the New York Yankees' spring training schedule on March 2 at Steinbrenner Field. Although USF will probably lose, it's going to be a thrill for them to get out there against the Yankees.
3. GoUSFBulls has the latest edition of Coordinators' Corner posted for you, talking with defensive coordinator Mark Snyder as they get ready for the Orange offense tonight.
4. The Bulls defense is at a loss for words when it comes to their inability to get a defensive stop at the end of the game. I'm a little surprised that USF leads the nation in tackles for loss.
5. Finally, congrats to former USF soccer player Zak Boggs, who was named MLS Humanitarian of the Year. Boggs works as a volunteer at the Children's Hospital Boston as he does his part to find a cure for cancer.
6. If you know a veteran, or even if you just run into them on the street, make sure to thank them today. They make it possible for us to fake gamble and post GIFs of Pitbull on helmets. Among other things.
