Stampeding Through the Roster: #58 Edsel Caprice

In any color, the Ford Edsel was a sight to unhold. Let's hope our Edsel does a little better.

I know previous stampeder, #60 Danous Estenor, gets to OG in his 1990 Cadillac Seville, but there isn't a player on the roster with a more motor-ready name than # 58 Edsel Caprice. Let's hope his game isn't as ugly as his namesake. Or his other namesake.

#58 LB Edsel Caprice
Redshirt Freshman, 6'2" 215 lbs.

Stats in 2011: None, as he took a redshirt season.

Current Spot on Depth Chart: Not listed.

How did he come to USF: After deciding between USF, UNC, WVU, and FAU, the Cape Coral HS alum joined USF in the summer of 2010. The all-state defender had 188 tackles, 34 sacks and 66 TFLs in the final two years at Cape Coral HS. He was a three-sport athlete, lettering also in track and field and basketball.

Recruiting Rankings: Three stars from Rivals

Projected Playing Time for 2012: As he wasn't listed on the depth chart after the spring, it's doubtful he'll get much playing time with the long-time starters currently at LB.
