USF's breakneck recruiting pace is not slowing down. After getting a verbal commitment from a massive offensive lineman on Friday, the Bulls picked up two more commits on Sunday, including a badly-needed running back and their most highly-rated commit so far.
The offensive lineman is Jeremi Hall, a 6'4", 330-pound offensive guard from Tri-cities High School in Atlanta and a teammate of another USF commit, defensive tackle Dominique Threatt. Hall was previously committed to Georgia Tech, but decided to take an official visit to USF last weekend and apparently didn't tell anyone at Georgia Tech about it. That led to Georgia Tech* pulling his offer and eventually his commitment to the Bulls on Friday. Hall is a three-star prospect on Rivals and Scout, and a (very high) two-star prospect on 247.

The first commit on Sunday came from Stafon McCray, a running back from Osceola High School in Kissimmee. He's another teammate of a USF recruit -- safety Hassan Childs is also from Osceola. Measurements on McCray vary. He is either 5'11" or 6'0", and somewhere around the 200-pound mark, but at least everyone agrees on his stats at Osceola the last two years, where he ran for well over 3000 yards and scored a total of 45 touchdowns. All the recruiting sites list McCray as a three-star prospect. Rivals lists his 40 time as only 4.72 seconds, which may indicate he's more of a between-the-tackles power back.
Then there's Lamar Robbins, a defensive back from Miami's Southridge High School...

Somewhat committed, huh? That's a thing, I guess? Well, let's write about Robbins as if he is committed. He plays on both sides of the ball at Southridge and is classified as an athlete, but was being recruited as a defensive back who can play anywhere in the secondary. USF got him over a number of worthy competitors, including Oklahoma, Louisville, and West Virginia, all of which got official visits from him. Robbins is a four-star prospect on both 247 and Rivals, and even though Scout was classifying him as a wide receiver, he got three stars from them, too.
Other recruiting notes:
- Cincinnati apparently came out of nowhere and got Howard Wilder (juco cornerback) to flip his commitment to them from USF. Conspiracy theories can be placed in the comments section below.
- There's a rumor going around that Alabama QB Phillip Ely is looking to transfer and may be interested in his hometown Bulls. Ely played at Tampa's Plant High School, and although he'd have to sit out a year if he did leave the Tide, USF could certainly use him.
