Steve Masiello Offered USF Coaching Job

Masiello is due for a big raise if he comes to Tampa.

Manhattan head coach Steve Masiello was offered the USF men's basketball head coaching job last night. Masiello was in Tampa yesterday, though it is unknown if he visited USF's campus.

The offer from USF was reported to be a five-year contract worth a total of $6.2 million, though the incentive structure is not known at this time.

Masiello just guided the Jaspers to a 25-8 season and Manhattan's first NCAA appearance since 2004, a second-round 71-64 loss to his former employer Louisville where he was an assistant for seven seasons under Cardinals head coach Rick Pitino.

We'll add more info as we get it here.
