For me, the most interesting line this week is Wake Forest, getting 35 1⁄2 points - up from 32 1⁄2 at the beginning of the week - against Louisville. That seems like a lot of points to give a winning team with a good defense, but Louisville has been explosive enough to cover that this season.
As for the rest of it, this weekend looks like an ordinary set of games with no major matchups. Unbeatens Alabama, Clemson, Michigan, and Washington all look primed to slot into the four playoff spots. They play mid-level conference opponents Mississippi State, Pittsburgh, Iowa, and Southern California respectively. Of course, in college football, chaos often happens when least expected, and any loss among those teams would throw the playoff picture into a tizzy.
