#50 OL Christion Gainer - Redshirt Freshman, 6’6”, 311 lbs.

2017: Appeared in only the season opener at San Jose State.

2016: Gainer redshirted.

How He Came To USF: Gainer anchored the offensive line at Panama City’s Bay High School. In his senior season, the Tornadoes ran for over 200 yards per game and scored 31 rushing touchdowns on their way to the Class 5A state playoffs. Christion earned himself a place on the Florida Class 5A all-state second team after the season. He committed to USF in June 2015 and stayed with it until signing day, turning down offers from Florida, Miami, Louisville, North Carolina, and others.

Recruiting Rankings: Gainer was a three-star recruit on all four major recruiting sites.
