Former Class 7A first-team all-state PK from Gainesville Buchholz. Hit 2 of 4 FGs last season at Tennessee State, none longer than 39 yards. Hit all 4 PATs https://t.co/tDxaSUKALR

The 5’9” 160-pound freshman from Gainesville, FL recorded stats in three games for the Tigers in 2017, making two of four field goals and converting a perfect three for three extra points. With two other kickers also receivng playing time for Tennessee Tech, the Bucholz High alum recorded nine points as a true freshman.
Marco (Polo) Salani and Jake Vivonetto are the other place kickers on the roster with JUCO transfer and Aussie-rules punter Trent Schneider also taking reps at the position. Schneider attempted the only field goal at the Spring Game, a miss from 47 yards out.
The Bulls have had tremendous #collegekicker luck with Emilio Nadelman, Marvin Kloss and Maikon Bonani all coming through the program in succession. So it was no surprise that Coach Strong and company decided to bring in some competition before fall camp when no one on the current roster took the proverbial bull by the horns as the lead placekicker during the spring.
Practice ends with 4 total FG attempts -- from what appears to be 40-plus yards -- by 3 different kickers. None come close. #ItsEarly #USF

All signs point to Weiss being immediately eligible with four years to play three seasons.
