#96 DT Kelvin Pinkney Jr. - Sophomore, 6’3”, 288 lbs.

2017: Pinkney appeared in all 12 games as a true freshman, recording 16 tackles (three for loss), 1.5 sacks, and a blocked kick. Came away with six tackles in the season opener versus San Jose State and nearly got himself a scoop-n-score in his very first game as a Bull.

How He Came to USF: The Sarasota Booker product was recruited by Shaun King and decided to verbally commit in July of 2016. Stayed on board with class through the transition from the Willie Taggart to Charlie Strong regimes, spurning offers from Western Kentucky and Middle Tennessee State. His mother, Brenda, is a USF alumna.

Recruiting Rankings: Bronson was rated a three-star prospect by ESPN and a two-star by both Rivals and 247.
