Jordao is rated a five-star by Blue Star Europa and Passion Hoops and has plenty of experience at the club level with Quinta Dos Lombos and internationally with the U-20 Portuguese Women’s Basketball team.
The 6-3 forward averaged 11.9 points and 8.4 rebounds per game at the FIBA U-20 Women’s European Championship, helping her team to a seventh place finish.
“Beatriz is a big, physical player that has tremendous potential and will have a great presence on the block for us,” USF head coach Jose Fernandez said in the school’s release. “She is competitive and has great international experience playing at a high level.”
She joins fellow five-star prospects Luize Septe (Latvia) and Elisa Pinzan (Italy) in the 2018 class as well as classmates Sydni Harvey (Nashville, Tennessee), Makaela Kestner (Bealton, Virginia), and Irida Tsafara (Greece).
