NEWPORT, Rhode Island— USF football has added another player to a 2018 preseason watch list. Right tackle Marcus Norman was named to the Outland Trophy Watch List, given annually to the nation’s best interior lineman.

Norman has started 21 consecutive games for the Bulls as has paved the way for the offense to eclipse 6,000 yards for the season in back-to-back years. The Bulls averaged 264.1 yards per game on the ground in 2017.

Norman is the second USF offensive lineman in as many years to be named to a preseason watch list (center Cam Ruff-Rimington Trophy).

The Bulls rushed for more than 300 yards in three consecutive games in 2017, capped off by a 390-yard performance at ECU which is third all-time. USF also ran for 378 yards at Tulane, which is fourth all-time.

The junior from Sebastian is one of three starters returning along the offensive line.
