How he came to USF: Playing for nearby Armwood alongside fellow Class of 2017 signee Jabreel Stephens, LaPointe led the state with 10 interceptions as a junior before missing most of his senior season due to injury. The #BayMade product chose USF over offers from NC State, Cincinnati, and C. among others.
