2017: Trina was redshirted as a walk-on freshman. He played a major role as part of the Birmingham Bowl sweatpants mob by being squatted numerous times by Frederick Lloyd Jr.

How he came to USF: A Class of 2017 product out of Tampa Plant, Trina accepted a preferred walk-on role at the school after helping the Panthers reach the 2018 Class 7A state championship game. He threw for 1,001 yards and 13 touchdowns in his junior and senior seasons. He had a few DIII offers from Ohio Northern and Carleton College.
