#14 DB Mike Hampton - Redshirt Sophomore, 6’1”, 168 pounds

2017: Hampton got plenty of reps in the secondary as a redshirt freshman, playing in all 12 games and making one start. He had 11 tackles on the season with two pass breakups.

2016: Redshirted.

How he came to USF: The #BayMade DB from hometown Hillsborough High combined for 88 tackles, 10 interceptions, and four pass breakups in his final two seasons with the Terriers. Receiving offers from power five schools like Iowa, Iowa State, Indiana, and Pitt, Hampton was originally leaning towards Toledo before flipping to the hometown school on signing day.

Recruiting Rankings: Rated a three-star by 247 and Rivals.
