With media days long gone and fall practice starting tomorrow, we can officially tip our cap to the beginning of the #PreSZN with the release of the never controversial Amway Top 25 preseason Coaches Poll.

The Top 25 Poll was officially released today at noon and to no surprise, the South Florida Bulls are not among the initial rankees; however, they did receive six votes which slots them in at #45.

USF boasted a program-best 19-straight selections in the Coaches Poll dating back to Week 14 of the 2016 season. Head Coach Charlie Strong is among the selected coaches that participate in the poll.

Last season USF started at #21 and climbed as high as #13 before a couple of late season losses and a Birmingham Bowl victory had them end where they started at #21. It was the first time in program history USF stayed in a poll for an entire season.

C. is the only representative from the American Athletic Conference in the ranking coming in at #23. Memphis and Houston are also receiving votes coming in at #35 and #50 respectively. Boise State is the highest Group of 5 representative at #22.

#1 Alabama earned 61 of the 65 first-place votes. #2 Clemson garnered three votes, and #3 Ohio State got the last first-place vote.
