Football is back baby! It’s #BeatElon game week! And we’re here with the first football preview edition of the Bulluminati Podcast for the ‘18 football season! Collin Sherwin, Nathan Bond, Senator Giggity and Anthony Vito are recording live from Collin’s South Tampa home in the midst of a thunderstorm and power outage so the heat is on! Literally!
Minutes before the podcast, Nate received the depth chart for Elon so we analyze the 2-deep, discuss the surprises, including the plethora of true freshmen and redshirt freshmen and what that means for expectations for the team; at least for this week.
The guys talk extensively on the QB competition, Blake Barnett being named the starter, and what that means for the rest of the team. We discuss Barnett in the veer-and-shoot and how Year 2 in this offense (for the rest of the roster) could be fruitful. The guys also discuss the size of the defensive front seven and some notable names that missing from the 2-deep.
