For his performance in USF’s 25-19 come from behind win over Illinois on Saturday, junior quarterback Blake Barnett was named Co-AAC Offensive Player of the Week along with Memphis’ Darrell Henderson on Monday.
This is the Alabama/Arizona State transfers third straight week receiving conference recognition after being named to the AAC honor roll the two weeks prior.

Barnett went 23 of 40 passing for 411 yards, two touchdowns (both in the fourth quarter), and two interceptions in the victory at Soldier Field.
His 411 yards was the second-most a USF quarterback has ever thrown in a single game behind GOAT Quinton Flowers’ 503 in the War on I-4 last season.
At the current pace he’s on, The Corona, CA, native is on track to throw for roughly 4,000 yards and 30 touchdowns this season.
