The American Athletic Conference announced Monday that graduate transfer quarterback Blake Barnett was named to the weekly Honor Roll for his efforts in USF’s 34-14 season-opening win over Elon on Saturday night.
These players racked up the stats through the air, on the ground and on the defensive side of the ball to earn a spot on the #AmericanFB Honor Roll.

Barnett, making his Bulls debut, completed 24-of-34 passes for 305 yards and three touchdowns, adding another score on the ground.
Accounting for 336 total yards and four touchdowns, Barnett led scoring drives in five of his first six possessions in the green and gold.
It’s the best touchdown performance by any USF quarterback in a debut, and his 305 yards passing is the second most in a debut.
USF will face Georgia Tech on Saturday at noon from Raymond James Stadium. The game will be televised on ABC.
