Following a season-high, 25-point performance in a blowout victory over Tulane on Saturday, freshman Syndi Harvey was named the American Athletic Conference Freshman of the Week on Monday.

The Nashville native shot 9-for-17 from the floor and tied a career-high for three-pointers made with four.

Harvey dished off a team-high four assists, registered two steals and went a perfect 3-for-3 from the free throw line. At 90.8%, she is the only player in the AAC shooting above 90% from the charity stripe this season.

Teammate Enna Pehadzic was named to the weekly Honor Roll after knocking down a career-high five three-balls and finishing with a career-high 21 points in the victory over the Green Wave.

The redshirt sophomore also hauled in eight rebounds and dished out three assists.

USF (11-7, 2-2 AAC) returns to the Yuengling Center on Wednesday night to face Memphis at 7 p.m. The Bulls will then travel to Dallas on Saturday at 1 p.m. to take on SMU.
