We’re back with another edition of our weekly recruiting roundup, where we drop in a handful of USF’s Class of 2020 prospects and see how they’re doing during their senior seasons in high school.

Dodge City CC WR Da’Quan Bailey-Brown

Dodge City was on the receiving end of a horrendously lopsided beatdown last Saturday, being routed 85-3 by Hutchinson CC.

Bailey-Brown registered just two receptions for 12 yards in the loss. According to the game logs, those were his first receptions in three games for the struggling Conquistadors. He’s still sixth in receiving in the Jayhawk Conference with 23 receptions for 363 yards and three touchdowns.

0-8 Dodge City will host Highland CC this Saturday.

Daytona Beach Mainland ATH Taron Keith

After missing Mainland’s 52-28 victory over Westwood the week prior, Taron Keith returned to action last Friday to help his Buccaneers pull away from New Smyrna Beach 42-6.

Here’s him catching a 31-yard touchdown pass from T.J. Lockley...

The 4-3 Bucs will head to Seabreeze this Friday before closing the regular season against Bolles out of Jacksonville on Nov. 1.

DeLand CB Ben Knox

Knox and his Bulldogs improved to 5-2 on the season last Friday, holding off University for a 21-14 victory.

Ranked in the top 10 of the 8A Region 1 RPI, DeLand can continue to bolster their playoff prospects when hosting Flagler Palm Coast this Friday.

The Villages Charter DB Mac Harris

Harris and his Villages Charter have had over a week to stew on a 22-21 loss to South Sumter on Oct. 14, their second loss of the season.

SS rallied late to pull within one of the Buffalo with 1:26 left in the contest before successfully converting on a two-point conversion to take the lead. Harris, playing QB, was on the verge of successfully marching his team down the field to retake the lead before being stripped sacked with 49 seconds left to seal their fate. He finished the game with two touchdowns but fumbled twice.

VC will host Wildwood for Senior Night this Friday.

Deerfield Beach CB Christopher Townsel

In a battle of two Broward County behemoths, Deerfield Beach had their five-game winning steak snapped last Friday in a 28-7 loss to No. 2 in the nation St. Thomas Aquinas.

Townsel and the Bucks can still clinch the District 8A-12 title with a win at Monarch this Friday.

Dunnellon DB AJ Hamilton

After falling to 47-35 to Madison County the week prior, Hamilton and his Dunnellon Tigers took their anger out on Lake Weir with a 44-7 beating. Offensively, Hamilton found the endzone twice, running one in and catching one from quarterback Trent Townsend.

The win sets up a critical home showdown with North Marion this Friday. The 7-1 Tigers can clinch the District 5A-6 title with a win.

Plantation American Heritage OG Khristopher Love

Love and the Patriots continued on their path of destruction last Friday, carving up American Collegiate Academy out of Clearwater 64-13. Quarterback Edwin Rhodes threw for five touchdowns in the first half.

Through eight games this season, the balancedAH offense is averaging 298 yards on 6.8 yards per play.

American Heritage will close the regular season this Friday when hosting Hallandale.
