Here’s some quick takeaways:
-What immediately jumps out about the 2019 slate is the fact the highly anticipated bout versus Wisconsin will be on a Friday night instead of a Saturday, giving the Bulls a rare weekday season-opener.
While it does conflict with week one of the high school football season, the game will be in primetime and won’t be buried on the Saturday schedule.
-The only other weekday game the team has on the agenda its Nov. 7 home battle versus Temple.
Starting September 19 when Houston travels to Tulane, there will be at least one conference game on Thursday or Friday for the rest of the season. @American_FB #USF @SHPawdcast @FearTheWaveBlog

-The two byes are spread out pretty well with one coming in between the South Carolina State and SMU games in late September and the other one coming in between the ECU and Temple games in early November.
-Three straight home games to start the month of November is something Charlie Strong and staff should use to their advantage, especially if they’re well into the division race by then.
-As expected, the C. game at Immediate Life Safety Concerns Stadium will be on Black Friday, Nov. 29.
I am pleased with how this schedule sets up for our fans (no home noon starts in early September) and for our team (well-placed bye weeks and we don’t leave the state of Florida in November). #HornsUp https://t.co/wOMEPPNVXH
