Way back on April 11, FBSschedules.com reported that FAMU will travel to Tampa to face USF on September 18, 2021.

FBSschedules.com FOIA’d the contract from FAMU and reported that the Rattlers will earn $450k to face the Bulls in 2021, one week after USF takes on the Florida Gators on September 11.
The Daily Stampede has FOIA’d USF for the same contract, but has not received official word. Kevin Kelley of FBS Schedules was kind enough to forward me the contract, and one thing stuck out.
The contract offer was given to FAMU in late January. FAMU signed it in late March, but as of today, USF has not signed the contract.
That’s not to say the game will not be played, but the literal crossing of the T’s and dotting of the i’s have not happened on USF’s side.
TDS was told by people familiar with the situation that USF is fully on-board with playing the state of Florida’s HBCUs.
The Bulls have faced FAMU three times and have won all three times, most recently defeating the Rattlers 51-3 in the season opener in 2015.

This is a developing story and we will keep you posted.
