For the second year in a row the South Florida Bulls Softball team are your American Athletic Conference regular season champions.

The Bulls (39-17, 17-4) narrowly missed their 18th 40-win season, but clinched the best conference record in league history.
USF fresh off of five-straight sweeps of conference foes, made it interesting in Wichita, Kansas, dropping the first two games of the season; one by way of a heartbreaking 4-3 loss in extra innings and the other run-rule shutout. Corrick (23-4) returned to her scoreless ways pitching an absolute gem only giving up two runs and striking out eight. The Bulls only run of the game came courtesy of the long-ball in the first inning with a solo shot by senior Lindsay Devitt; that’s all Georgina needs nowadays to get the dub.
