After months and months of anticipation, USF Football released their new adidas uniforms today. The Bulls will be the only team in the nation wearing the new WVN A1 uniform.

After spending a year in stock adidas threads due to contracts not getting signed in enough time, the Bulls will now be the first team to wear adidas’ lightest weight uniform.

From the release:

The advanced technology in the four-way stretch woven fabric combined with stretch mesh paneling throughout the jersey and pant provides for an elevated range of motion, compression fit and superior ventilation. Rigid mesh at key vent zones around the shoulder pads provides AERO.RDY breathability.

“We are very excited that in the second year of our partnership with adidas our football team will be the only one in the country wearing their lightest weight uniforms,” USF Vice President of Athletics Michael Kelly said. “We look forward to the Bulls looking great and feeling great in the new lightweight, breathable material.”

The Bulls’ new green (home) and white (away) uniform designs will feature a gold horn on each shoulder in a metallic Framis material developed in Israel. The reflective metallic gold material also highlights numbers and lettering on the uniforms

The biggest difference between the 2018 and 2019 version (besides the material) is there’s no long the tire tread marks all over the home jersey which gives it a much cleaner look overall. The “South Florida” across the front of the away Whites appear stitched on and look good.

You may have noticed no SoFlo Black jerseys revealed today. There will be an alternate jersey for 2019.

Overall, it’s cleaner and sleeker look in 2019 for the revamped Bulls.
