Will Turner of has reported that South Florida Bulls wide receiver/running back Johnny Ford has been ruled out vs Wisconsin with an undisclosed reason. The Daily Stampede has also confirmed with USF.

The sophomore came into the season looking to become a utility player getting snaps at both wide receiver and running back during fall camp. Last season, in the #HBDive offense, Ford was able to find a groove getting 6.8 yards per carry, 787 yards, and eight touchdowns. He got a few snaps at receiver, recording a touchdown reception against UCF.

USF will look to use walk-on Bryce Miller, Michigan transfer Eddie McDoom in the slot, as well as running backs Jordan Cronkrite and Trevon Sands to replace him.
