This week had a few standout performances from former USF players, including a rare occurrence for the most productive ex-Bull in NFL history.
Jason Pierre-Paul- Tampa Bay Buccaneers OLB
Pierre-Paul got back on track with a sack this week, bringing him up to 7.5 on the season, which is just two behind NFL leader Myles Garrett. On top of his sack, he got another hit on Teddy Bridgewater, added two solo tackles and three combined tackles in the win over the Carolina Panthers.
Am I forgetting anything? Hmmm let me see. Oh yeah, he got the third interception of his eight year career, and his first since 2013. JPP dropped into coverage and Bridgewater never saw him.

Pierre-Paul and the Bucs will be back in action this week on Monday Night Football against the Los Angeles Rams.
Marquez Valdes-Scantling- Green Bay Packers WR
Valdes-Scantling had a massive day against Jacksonville, leading the team in receiving yards with 149 most of which came on a 78-yard score in the second quarter. MVS caught the ball, went across the field, made a move on a defender so nasty it made the ref fall over, and hit the end zone. The score marked his fourth of the season, a career high.

The Jags welcome the undefeated Pittsburgh Steelers to Duval this weekend.
Austin Reiter- Kansas City Chiefs C
Reiter and Kansas City had an idle week. They face the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday.
Deadrin Senat- Atlanta Falcons DT
Senat and the Falcons had an off week. They play the New Orleans Saints this week.
D’Ernest Johnson- Cleveland Browns RB
Johnson didn’t get any snaps on offense in the Browns win over the Houston Texans, but he was on the field for five special teams snaps.
Cleveland faces off with the Philadelphia Eagles this week.
