Kickoff Times Announced For Three USF Football Games, Including Trip to Notre Dame

Maybe having no fans for a September home game is a good idea.

We’re 11 days away from the South Florida Bulls kicking off the Jeff Scott era, and we now know what time the Bulls will face their first opponent.

The American Athletic Conference announced that the Bulls’ season opener versus The Citadel on September 12 will have a start time of 1 p.m. With no fans allowed to be in attendance for at least the first game, the mid-afternoon kick isn’t too much of a problem. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+, which you need a subscription to use.

If you use this link to sign up for ESPN+, The Daily Stampede receives $3 per sign-up thanks in part to our relationship between ESPN, and Vox Media.

It was also announced the Bulls game at Notre Dame will kick off at 2:30 p.m. on the USA Network, thanks in part to the U.S. Open being on the same weekend. We can only hope Psych is the lead-in to the game. Notre Dame is allowing 20% capacity for this game.

Finally, the October 23 home game versus Tulsa will kick off at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN. This is the first Friday night game of the season for the Bulls. USF Athletics hopes to be able to have some fans in the stands for this game, COVID-19 pending.

The War on I-4 will also be on an ESPN network on Black Friday.
