The most iconic former USF player on an NFL roster continues his hot start and even holds the longest active streak in the league in one important statistic.

Jason Pierre-Paul- Tampa Bay Buccaneers OLB

Jason Pierre-Paul got a sack for the third straight week, the only Bucs player to do that. JPP’s streak of games with consecutive sacks now sits at five games, dating back to last year. If he gets another one this week against the LA Chargers, he will have tied his own franchise record for most consecutive games recording a sack.

In addition to his sack in last weeks match up with the Broncos, he got another tackle as well. He played the least amount of snaps he’s seen all season, being on the field for 78% of defensive snaps, as opposed to 96% and 89% the first two weeks. He was limited in practice early last week with a knee injury, so he may have just seen less snaps to not overwork his injury.

Austin Reiter- Kansas City Chiefs C

Reiter started his 19th consecutive regular season game for the Chiefs Monday night against the Baltimore Ravens. The man in the middle once again played every offensive snap in addition to six special teams snaps in their win over Baltimore.

Kansas City takes on New England on Sunday at 4:25 EST.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling- Green Bay Packers WR

Valdes-Scantling had a golden opportunity to solidify himself as a true number one wideout this week as Devante Adams sat out Green Bay’s game against New Orleans. However, he only caught one ball for five yards, as Allen Lazard made his case with 146 yards and a TD on six catches.

This week MVS and the crew welcome the Atlanta Falcons to Green Bay for Monday Night Football. He should be able to step up against a Atlanta defense which has struggled this season.

D’Ernest Johnson- Cleveland Browns RB

For the third consecutive week Johnson saw time on the field. Though he didn’t see any offensive snaps, he has been a consistent contributor on special teams. This week he even got his first punt return of the season, though it was for a gain for zero yards in the Browns win over the Washington Football Team.

Cleveland takes on the Cowboys this weekend at 1 p.m. ET

Deadrin Senat- Atlanta Falcons DT

Senat was inactive Sunday in the Falcons game against the Chicago Bears. The Falcons take on MVS and the Packers this week on Monday night. .

Mike White- New York Jets QB

Served as Sam Darnold’s backup in a 36-7 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. Head coach Adam Gase made it seem as if there are no plans to bench the struggling Darnold. White’s time on the active roster could be ending soon, as Joe Flacco battles his way back from injury.

The Jets play the Denver Broncos this week on Thursday Night Football.
