BREAKING: USF Men’s Basketball Pauses Basketball Activities Due to COVID Protocols

The Bulls haven’t played since January 9.

USF men’s basketball has paused all activities indefinitely as a result of COVID-19 protocols within the program.

As a result of the pause, the two upcoming games against Wichita State (January 24th) and Temple (January 27th) have been postponed, but a reschedule has not been determined yet.

USF last played January 9 against ECU where they won 69-63. Both ECU, and USF have had to postpone games since that day.

This makes four straight games that USF has postponed this season, and fifth game overall. Earlier this season, USF’s game against LSU was canceled and subsequently replaced by Wofford. The conference will now look to fit rescheduled games for the Bulls against Houston, East Carolina, Wichita State, and Temple.

As of now, the next game for USF would be a home game versus Cincinnati on January 30, but the Bearcats have had their own COVID issues recently.

Wear a mask. Wash your hands. Be smart.
