The South Florida Bulls head back on out on the road today to face the high-powered SMU Mustangs. While the Bulls are coming off a close loss at BYU, the Mustangs beat rival TCU Horned Frogs last week behind a four touchdown performance from QB Tanner Mordecai.

USF has to be able to extend drives on offense to keep the SMU offense on the bench. They should be able to have success today because the Mustangs defense is less than stellar.

SMU is a true pick your poison team as evidenced by last week’s 350 yard rushing performance. Mordecai has hit seven different receivers for touchdowns, and he leads all of FBS with 20 passing scores on the year.

For the Bulls to have success and pull off the upset, they will need to tackle (!!!), create pressure and get Mordecai off his spot, and force a couple of turnovers.
