The American Athletic Conference announced the conference schedule for the 2021 football season on Thursday. After the nightmare of a 2020 season to schedule and play during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Bulls will look to improve upon a 1-8 record last season.

USF already announced the non-conference slate to begin the season, starting the year at North Carolina State for a Thursday matchup on Sept. 2. The Bulls will then face two in-state foes at home back-to-back, facing the Florida Gators on Sept. 11 and then Florida A&M on Sept. 18 before traveling out to Provo to take on BYU on Saturday, September 25.

The Bulls will kick off conference play on October 2 when they face SMU in Dallas, afterward they will have their only bye week of the season on October 9.

USF return home for a two game stint against Tulsa on October 16 and Temple on the 23, followed by a road trip to Greenville to face off against ECU either on the Thursday (Oct. 28) or Saturday (Oct. 30).

The Bulls will wrap up the home slate with Houston on November 6th which will be homecoming, and hold senior night on Friday, November 12 versus Cincinnati.

USF will finish the season on the road by traveling to the Big Easy to take on Tulane on November 20 before the War on I-4 Match up on Black Friday, November 26.

The AAC Championship game will be held on Saturday, December 4th with the host stadium TBD.

As always, wear a mask, be safe, social distance when possible so we can have more fans in attendance in 2021.
