Game two of the series with be on Sunday at 9 p.m. on ESPN2 or ESPNU, and game three—if necessary—will be on Monday at either 4 p.m. or 7 p.m. on ESPN2 or ESPNU.

The starting pitching trio of Tristan Stevens, Ty Madden, and Pete Hansen have paced the Longhorns with each of them having an ERA of 2.77 or better. Hansen’s 1.84 ERA is second best on the team.

Offensively, they’re slashing .282/.400/.449 and are led by DH Ivan Melendez who leads the team in home runs (12), batting average (.330), on-base percentage (.447), and slugging (.631). Center fielder Mike Antico leads the team in runs (61), and stolen bases (36).

This will be the first-ever meeting between USF and Texas in baseball. Let’s play for the hand sign, the $1.9 million owed to the Bulls for the missed 2020 football game, and spot in the College World Series?
