If you've been wondering when the renderings for the renovated Sun Dome would come out, you are not the only one. It's been a long seven months since the project started, but it finally looks like the final plans will be released soon. If you go to Page 3 of the USF Current Projects pdf, you'll notice a beautiful new rendering that I've never seen before.
That is ridiculous. You'll notice the hanging scoreboard along with what looks like the four corner scoreboards up on the 3rd level. The first level is completely enclosed, and there are the luxury suites between the first and second level. I would like to see a little gold in there somewhere, but other than that I have no complaints.
I know the athletic department said you wouldn't recognize the building, but I didn't expect anything like this. This and the Muma Center has to propel USF into having one of the best basketball facilities in the country.
