1. A big thank you goes out to former Tampa Bay Rowdies owners Cornelia and Richard Corbett, you gave the USF Athletic Department a 1.5 million dollar gift recently. In return, he school has announced that the new soccer stadium will be named after Cornelia. This calls for a YouTube:

2. The guys at College Football News have their USF preview up. Compared to years past, this is worth a read if you can get past all the pop-ups.

3. Speaking of previews, Bill Connelly of Football Study Hall has his preview up for Notre Dame. Like Phil Steele , Bill thinks this is the year that the Fighting Irish finally turn the corner.

4. Adam Adkins of the Tampa Tribune has a nice update on how our drafted USF baseball players are getting ready for the minor leagues.

5. Finally, congrats to former USF player Ryan Benjamin, as he was named the new head coach at River Ridge High School in Pasco County. Best of luck to you and the Royal Knights this year.
