The season opener against Notre Dame is only 53 days away. Today we get to introduce you to one of the best names on the roster this season, even if we won't see very much of him on the field.

#53 Sharly Azard

5th Year Senior, 6'0", 214 lbs.

Stats in 2010: Sharly only played in the FAU game during his first season on the football team. Azard did not record any tackles last year.

Current Spot on Depth Chart: Azard is not listed on the post-spring depth chart at any of the three linebacker positions.

How He Got To USF: Sharly came to USF via Abraham Clark HS in Scotch Plains, New Jersey. Azard walked on in the Spring in 2009 and was one of only four players to make the roster from spring practice.

Recruiting Rankings: Neither Rivals or Scout had any information on Sharly.

Projected Playing Time For 2011: Sharly will be looked for as quality depth on the scout team and to help on special teams. Hopefully Sharly can get on the field for a few plays and maybe find his way onto the stat sheet this season.
