Pathetic offense
And then the D conceded
Dream season over
-
There were boos from the stands for lots of the game, and with an offense as uncreative as most of the profanities yelled at offensive coordinator Sterlin Gilbert on Twitter, it seemed justified.
Opportunity after opportunity was squandered by the Bulls. Two 4th downs plowed into the line that could have been field goals.
And then 4th and 24.
One of the most devastating losses in team history. And at USF, that’s a pretty high bar.
The season isn’t over, but the dream might be. And now the margin for error is exactly zero. Win out, or no conference championship.
- Marquez Valdes-Scantling had a career day with 10 receptions for 186 yards
- Quinton Flowers: 23-38, 325 yards passing. 14 carries, 7 yards.
- Flowers moves past the 10,000 total yards threshold, now with 10,010 career.
- The Bulls in the first half on first down: nine carries for -8 yards. 2-4 passing for 37 yards.
- Houston’s D’Eriq King: 12-20, 137 yards, 1 TD.
Sorry there isn’t more here, we’ll be back shortly.
