Best of the Bull-ogosphere: Louisville Weekend Edition

Lets get into it.

- Adam Adkins is reporting that USF OL Coach Steve Shankweiler is in the running to become the next Head Coach of Elon. Coach Shankweier did a fantastic job with the offensive line this season, and if he does get the job, I wish him all the best.

- Greg Auman has some great news for Dontavia Bogan, who will play in the inaugural Eastham Energy College All-Star Game in Arizona. Bogan is the 2nd Bull to play in an all-star game, as Terrell McClain will play in the East-West Shrine Game in Orlando.

- Lelo Prado has a little work to do this season, as the BaseBulls were pegged to finish 4th this season by the Big East coaches.

- Greg Auman checked in on our USF alums in the NFL this season. Stephen Nicholas had a career year for the Falcons, and good for Jason Pierre-Paul to finish strong with 4.5 sacks for the season.

- Matt at The Bull Rush is doing profile pieces on the secondary, and already has some up on Kayvon Webster, Jerrell Young, and Quenton Washington.

- Jose and the Women's Basketball Team lost a heartbreaker to Cincinnati earlier this week, falling to the Bearcats 57-56. They are up in Providence to take on the Friars tonight.

- USF is still in the hunt for Tampa Alonso DE Anthony Chickillo says Greg Auman. He will be on campus for an official visit on the 14th, which is shaping up to be the biggest recruiting weekend in USF history.

- Rick Pitino told the Louisville Courier-Journal that USF is a team to be reckoned with, even if he's not worried about the atmosphere at the Sun Dome. Pitino says of the Bulls,

"But if you're going against a South Florida team that certainly can beat anybody on a given night."

He is also going to continue to start with 4 guards, with 6'4 Kyle Kuric guarding 6'8 Ron Anderson Jr. I hope that's something we can exploit Sunday.

- Let's wrap it up with Your USF Related YouTube of the Week. Amarri Jackson Game anyone?
