Nothing screams the day after Thanksgiving like a pre-noon kickoff between USF and Louisville. ESPN has announced that the Bulls and Cardinals will play at 11:00 AM on ESPN2.
While its nice to have a nationally televised game, this game is going to look bad for the university. A lot of out of town fans probably won't be able to make the trip due to the extremely early start time. Our student section will most likely be half full, and the horde of Louisville fans that normally come down every other year might think twice now. The atmosphere inside the stadium will be like a morgue.
On the plus side, the game is on a Friday where we've always done well. The weather will probably be nice so everyone will break out the mimosas and whatever else you guys make for an early kickoff.
At least we have that going for us. Which is nice.
