USF Schedule Of Events: November 7-13

Slow beginning to the week, but a couple of sports officially start up this week.

Football:

AWAY: Syracuse on Friday, November 11th at 8:00 PM in Syracuse, NY

Short week with a long trip up to Syracuse to take on the Orange. The Bulls need this win if they want to become bowl eligible. I can't really believe its come to that.

Men's Basketball:

HOME: Vermont on Saturday, November 12th at 7:00 PM at The University of Tampa's Bob Martinez Center

Stan Heath's squad start up the regular season as they host the Vermont Catamounts in the first game of the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame Tournament. Hope to see you guys down there

Women's Basketball:

TOURNY: Florida State on Friday, November 11th at 4:30 PM in Daytona Beach, FL

TOURNY: Arkansas on Saturday, November 12th at 4:30 PM in Daytona Beach, FL

TOURNY: Minnesota on Sunday, November 13th at 4:30 PM in Daytona Beach, FL

Jose Fernandez's squad open up their season participating in the WBI Tip-Off Tournament at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach. Can't really start a season off any better against a couple of high major squads.

Volleyball:

AWAY: West Virginia on Saturday, November 12th at 2:00 PM in Morgantown, WV

AWAY: Pittsburgh on Sunday, November 13th at 2:00 PM in Pittsburgh, PA

The volleyball team finish up the regular season needing to win these two games to they can grab a spot in the Big East tournament. The team currently sits in a 4 way tie for 6th place, and a sweep would almost guarantee a place in the tourney.

Cross Country:

AWAY: NCAA Regionals on Saturday, November 11th in Tuscaloosa, AL

The Cross Country team heads up to the University of Alabama to take part in the NCAA Regional meet this Saturday. Here's hoping a couple of runners qualify for the national meet.

Sailing:

AWAY: ACC Women's Championships from November 12-13 in Throggs Neck, NY.

We somehow missed the beginning of the sailing season, but they head up to SUNY-Maritime to participate in the ACC Women's Championships. And yes its at a place called Throggs Neck. I did not make this place up.
