Good Morning V5ers! Let's hope you are having a better day than the folks in Chapel Hill. That will not end well. On to the links!

1. Congrats to former USF soccer player Bernando Anor, who was named MLS Player of the Week after scoring a goal and picking up an assist in his first start with the Columbus Crew. Let's hope Anor can continue to get some playing time with the first team as the season continues.

2. Jarrett Guthrie from the Newsome High School defender Jackie Simpson has committed to Coach Denise Schulte-Brown and the women's soccer team. Simpson has been one of the county's best prep talents in women's soccer, earning first-team All-County the past two seasons.

3. The Tribune's Bill Ward reports that USF offered Armwood junior QB Darryl Richardson a scholarship for 2013. Even though he's a junior, he looks like a talent. Tennessee and Ohio State have also offered recently.

4. Team Speed Kills looks back at Round 3 of the SB Nation Conference Re-Draft Project. No USF yet, but Big East Coast Bias made a major reach Louisville was selected in the third round, so it's only a matter of time.

5. Hurdler David Aristil, heptathlete Rachael Klinger, and jumper Marqueshia Stallworth are heading to the U.S. Track & Field Championships this weekend in Eugene, Oregon. Best of luck to all three.
