Stats In 2010: Salinas saw action in two games against Stony Brook and FAU while participating on special teams. Salinas did not record any stats.
Current Position On Depth Chart: Salinas was not listed on the two-deep at cornerback on the post-spring depth chart.
How He Came To USF: Brandon comes to USF via Oak Ridge High School in Orlando. Salinas first earned a roster spot in the spring of 2010, and was able to hold make it to fall camp. At Oak Ridge, Salinas earned a total of seven letters between football and track, and he tallied 35 tackles, six pass breakups, two interceptions, and two forced fumbles in his senior year.
Recruiting Rankings: Brandon was not rated by Rivals or Scout.
Projected Playing Time In 2011: Salinas will be used on the scout team and may again find the field as a reserve and on special teams this season.
