Expectations for USF this year just got a little bit higher. Kirk Herbstreit was on College Football Live breaking down the Big East with Rece Davis when Rece asked who Herbstreit thought would win the Big East. Instead of going with West Virginia or Pitt, Kirk chose USF.
I think South Florida. I think B.J. Daniels is the best quarterback in the conference. 2nd year for Skip Holtz to be in charge. They've got a defense that's gonna get after some people. They get most of the big games in the conference at home. And I just think there's a lot of respect from me about the overall team speed on that football team. And I think the leadership of B.J. Daniels will be the difference for the Bulls.
Kirk also let out a little warning to Notre Dame fans about the season opener.
