There aren't many times that a USF player can hold an all-time record in anything, so we have to congratulate former USF great Jeff Cunningham as he scored his MLS record 134th goal for the Columbus Crew yesterday in Seattle.
Cunningham scored his record setting goal at the penalty spot in the 59th minute, beating Kasey Keller with a strike at the bottom right corner. Video of the goal is below.
Jeff was asked about his career and what the goal meant to him, and wanted to make sure to thank Jaime Moreno and some of the early stars of the MLS.

Cunningham played for USF from 1994-97 and was an absolute terror for the Bulls. Jeff was a 4-Time All-Conference selection and was a 2-Time All-American. Jeff scored 41 goals and 26 assists in his USF career and was named Conference USA Player of the Decade for his accomplishments on the pitch.
Congrats to Jeff on this honor. He's had a wonderful career in the MLS and its great to see him get his well deserved honor.
