We know that you guys can't get all of your information for each opponent from us. So to help you guys out, we are going to give you guys a good breakdown of where to go when you want to read up on the Fighting Irish.
SB Nation:
If applicable, we will put a SB Nation blog at the top. With Rakes of Mallow retiring earlier this fall, the guys at One Foot Down have stepped up to the plate and have done a great job since coming over from the FanTake network. If you haven't done so already, head on over and to say hello to Whiskey, Eric, burger, and the rest of the OFD staff.
Media:
There are a lot of quality traditional media outlets with beat writers covering the Irish out there. First off is Brian Bennett, who still covers Notre Dame at ESPN when he's not helping out with the Big Ten. NBC has their own Notre Dame specific site Inside the Irish, with Keith Arnold manning the site.
Couple of great local papers who cover as well, with the Chicago Tribune, the Chicago Sun-Times, and South Bend Tribune there to give you a quality local perspective on the Irish.
Other Blogs:
Other than OFD, there are two other Notre Dame blogs that should be bookmarked for this week. The first is The Subway Domer, who mixes in a bit of humor along with his quality breakdowns. The second is Her Loyal Sons, who have stepped up to the plate to replace the Blue-Gray Sky as the best independent Notre Dame blog out there. Plus, they use dancing leprechauns when predicting games.
Message Boards:
If you want to visit message boards to talk with Notre Dame fans, you can visit the Rivals, Scout, and 247 sites. There's also ND Nation, but be warned. Thar Be Dragons.
Official Site:
Wan't to know where Michael Floyd went to high school? Ever wonder where Brian Kelly got his masters? UND.com will give you everything you want to know about Notre Dame.
Any other Notre Dame sites that we missed out on or overlooked? Let us know in the comments.
