USF Basketball Releases Big East Schedule

Sorry to interrupt the Notre Dame talk, but John Marinatto thought it would be a great idea to release the conference schedule 24 hours before college football starts up.

The Bulls don't have any time to rest after their difficult non-conference schedule as the Bulls open up Big East play with defending national champions UConn at the St. Pete Times Forum on December 28th. The Bulls follow that up with a home slate against Rutgers on New Year's Day before heading on the road to take on Notre Dame and Villanova.

To finish up the season, USF will be home against Cincinnati, away to Louisville, and home to West Virginia with a lot of losses in between. I'm an insane optimist (I thought last year's team was going to win 18 games. Seriously), and even I know this year is going to be bad.

Here is the full conference schedule. All home games will be at the St. Pete Times Forum.:

Wednesday, December 28th  Connecticut  HOME
Sunday, January 1st  Rutgers  HOME
Thursday, January 5th  Villanova  AWAY
Tuesday, January 10th  Notre Dame  AWAY
Friday, January 13th  Seton Hall  HOME
Wednesday, January 18th  St. John's  HOME
Sunday, January 22nd  DePaul  AWAY
Tuesday, January 24th  Marquette  AWAY
Sunday, January 29th  Providence  HOME
Saturday, February 4th  Georgetown  AWAY
Wednesday, February 8th  Pittsburgh  HOME
Saturday, February 11th  Providence  AWAY
Wednesday, February 15th  Villanova  HOME
Sunday, February 19th  Pittsburgh  AWAY
Wednesday, February 22nd  Syracuse  AWAY
Sunday, February 26th  Cincinnati  HOME
Wednesday, February 29th  Louisville  AWAY

Alright so what do you guys think? 5 wins max?
