Your Required Reading: Florida A&M

New, 4 comments

I'm not going to lie, this is going to be a pretty short edition of Your Required Reading. As expected with most FCS teams, there aren't many sites out there covering the Rattlers. Those that do, though, do an exceptional job. Let's meet them.

SB Nation:

If applicable, we will put a SB Nation blog at the top. Unfortunately, we do not have a FAMU blog under our wing yet. So in lieu of that, head on over to the SB Nation NCAA Football Hub

Media:

For the most in depth coverage on Florida A&M, you really can't beat RattlerNews.com, a part of the Tallahassee Democrat. They did just institute a paywall after so many pageviews. Just giving you a heads up.

Other Blogs:

If you actually want to read up on FAMU without breaking out the credit card, head over the Florida A&M section of HBCU Sports Online. Probably the best place to read up on the Rattlers save for the official site. The other website you should check out is Rattler Nation. They focus on all aspects of FAMU, but they do talk about football every once in a while.

Message Boards:

Rattler News does have a forum for FAMU fans. But just like the regular site, the message board sits behind a paywall after so many pageviews.

Official Site:

If you need to know the two-deep at long snapper or wonder who had the most interceptions in 2008, FAMU Athletics will take care of you.

Marching 100:

To read more about FAMU's famous marching band, a big reason why Saturday's crowd will be so much larger than usual for an FCS game, FAMU's official site has everything you need on two different sites.
