Good Monday morning V5ers! We hope you guys had a better night than Tony Romo. On to the links!
1. Have to start this off with Greg Auman's headline of the month. Although seeing Darrell Scott hurdle was pretty awesome, getting hit below the belt while doing so is not.
2. What a difference a week makes. After starting off 0-5, the volleyball team has won their last 4, including winning all three matches at the UCF Invitational tournament this weekend. I think this is the spark that this young team needed as they get ready to switch over to conference play.
3. The Half-Hoops has a disappointing weekend in Dartmouth, going 0-1-1. The Bulls lost a heartbreaker to Bradley in extra time on Friday, then earned a draw against Dartmouth yesterday.
4. The Lady Half-Hoops ended their non-conference schedule on a high note after coming from behind to beat Jacksonville at the Kop. Valorie O'Brien scored with three minutes left before full time, Taylor Patterson blasted one at the top of the box in extra time for the game winner.
5. Congrats to the women's cross country team, who won their second meet in a row at this weekend's USF Invitational at The Claw. Allie Prendergast took individual honors as well. The men's team took sixth at the same event.
