USF Schedule of Events: September 5-11

Once again the first half of the week is empty before things go into overdrive for the weekend. Let's see what's going on this week on Fowler Avenue.

Football:

HOME: Ball State on Saturday, September 10 at 7:00 PM at Raymond James Stadium

I have a feeling there will be a strong home crowd after Saturday's result. Just a hunch.

Men's Soccer:

AWAY: Bradley on Friday, September 9 at 4:30 PM in Dartmouth, NH

AWAY: Dartmouth on Sunday, September 11 at 2:30 PM in Dartmouth, NH

The Half-Hoops take part of the Dartmouth Tournament this weekend after another strong 2-0 week. Here's hoping that Coach Keifer's squad can keep it up.

Women's Soccer:

HOME: Akron on Friday, September 9 at 7:30 PM at the Corbett Soccer Stadium

HOME: Jacksonville on Sunday, September 11 at 2:00 PM at the Corbett Soccer Stadium

The Lady Half-Hoops look to rebound after a 0-1-1 effort in the Dafeldecker Classic this weekend. Coach Schilte-Brown's team host two strong non-conference opponents at the Kop, and I'm sure the Goalmouths and the rest of the students will be ready to go.

Volleyball:

AWAY: FAU on Saturday, September 10 at 1:00 PM in Orlando, FL

AWAY: UNC-Greensboro on Sunday, September 11 at 11:00 AM in Orlando, FL

AWAY: UCF on Sunday, September 11 at 7:00 PM in Orlando, FL

The volleyball team looks to get the season back in check as they head to Orlando to participate in the UCF Invitational.

Cross Country:

HOME: Friday, September 9

The cross country hosts their first meet in almost a decade as they host the USF Invitational on Friday. Haven't seen a start time or where the meet will be located.

Men's & Women's Golf:

AWAY: Golfweek Challenge from September 11-13 in Pawley's Island, SC

The men's and women's golf teams head up to the Palmetto State to participate in this three-day tournament.
