Best of the Bull-ogosphere: January 16

With news not coming in as quickly as it did during football season, we are moving back to the old Bull-ogosphere title. With that being said, onto the links!

1. Greg Auman has a nice breakdown of the winners from this Saturday's USF banquet. Favorite stat from the entire banquet was the team's cumulative GPA topping 3.0 for the first time in program history.

2. Might as well call the NFC Championship Game the USF Bowl. Both the 49ers (Jim Leavitt and WR Dontavia Bogan, who went on injured reserve in preseason) and the Giants (Jason Pierre-Paul and Jacquian Williams) won this weekend, and will meet this weekend for a place in the Super Bowl. Fun times.

3. The women's tennis team started off the season on a good note as they defeated Syracuse and Ohio State over the weekend. You can find video highlights from the matches here and here.

4. After coming up short against Louisville, the women's basketball team crushed Seton Hall 68-49 on Saturday. Inga Orekhova once again had a quality game and led the Bulls with 20 points.

5. No link, but just a friendly reminder that the Stan Heath Show will be at the Beef 'O' Brady's on campus tonight at 7:00pm.
