Good morning V5ers! We hope your hangover from New Year's Eve has finally subsided. On to the links!

1. Greg Auman has postgame interviews up from Stan Heath, Anthony Collins, and Ron Anderson Jr. after the win against Rutgers yesterday. Love AC's answer when he was asked how it feels to hit the big shot.

2. Jose Fernandez and the women's basketball team split their two games in the St. Peter's Holiday Classic, losing to Dayton before taking care of the St. Peter's Peahens. Did I write this just to say Peahens? Why yes, yes I did.

3. New year, new transfer targets from big schools. This time its former 5-star RB Dillon Baxter, who is leaving Southern Cal after two seasons with the Trojans. Baxter has USF in his final two alongside San Diego State. We will keep you guys updated.

4. Forgot to link to this earlier, but Greg Auman at the St. Pete Tampa Bay Times did one of his always entertaining livechats on Thursday. Always worth a read.

5. The women's golf team is finally making turning the corner, and it looks like its starting to happen on the men's side as well. Freshman Trey Valentine finished 18th in the Patriot All-America Invitational. Congrats on the solid performance Trey.
